CONGOLESE WOMEN ASSOCIATION OF NEW ENGLAND

African Immigrant Women Leadership, Advocacy, Consultancy

Greetings!

Welcome to the Congolese Women Association of New England website. You can also find us on our new website: www.cawel.org The Congolese Women Association of New England aims to provide information on a wide array of programs, referrals, and services throughout New England and the Democratic Republic of Congo, ranging from immigration counseling, ESL classes, youth programs, women programs, elder services, job training, and counseling as well as many others. As one of the few programs headed by African women, CWANE is unique because its focus is on women in order to reach the immigrant community at large. CWANE believes that if refugee and immigrant women are empowered, the entire community will blossom.

Sincerely,

Julie Kabukanyi,  RN, BA, BSN
